Depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Start early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.

After lunch, continue toward Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti, the heart of the wildebeest calving season.
Arrive at your camp in the evening and enjoy a relaxing evening in the wilderness.

Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu and Southern Serengeti plains.
This is the main calving-season experience. Search for huge concentrations of wildebeest and zebra, newborn calves and the predators that follow the herds.
Your guide will track the herds and look for opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other predators.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your game drive into the afternoon.

After an early breakfast, continue your safari north through the Serengeti National Park.
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti's plains, kopjes and wildlife-rich areas. Depending on seasonal conditions, you may encounter wildebeest and zebra herds as well as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and giraffes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing toward your Serengeti camp.
End the day with a spectacular African sunset.

Wake early for your final Serengeti game drive.
This is an excellent opportunity for one last look at the Serengeti's wildlife before breakfast.
